Who is SATOSHI?
Hello! This is Satoshi!
I am a travel enthusiast and cell phone enthusiast. I am the administrator of the old site DanganTraveling.com.
(Dangan Traveling means bullet travel in Japanese.
The Japanese salarymen can only take short vacations. Satoshi devised a variety of trips to enjoy that short period of time.)
【Brief Satoshi’s history】
After graduating from Hakuo University in japan, I have worked for a department store in Tochigi prefecture for one year and for a certain group in Tokyo for 14 years as an employee.
I have participated in many projects and have been involved in the planning and operation of online stores, planning and operation of corporate websites, promotion of internal DX, use of SNS, and data analysis.
I have created this website in the hope that I can contribute to improving your life and learning about life by sharing the knowledge, experience, and new information I have gained so far with you.
I was born in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture and currently live in Taito-ku, Tokyo. My main areas of activity in Japan are Ueno, Asakusa, and Akihabara.
I have traveled abroad to New York, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, Danang, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Singapore.
When traveling, my goal is to “make friends with the locals!” was my goal, and I would frequent supermarkets and shopping centers.
I have been able to talk to so many people so far.
Thanks to this, I have acquired the habit of thinking and acting on my own.
I am no longer afraid to try new things.
I believe that this act of choosing for oneself is an important thing in life.
【Motto】
Santoshi has two points that he always explains when he introduces himself.
Determine the true nature of things.
There is a lot of information flying around in the world today. Among them, there are various types of information, including information that is convenient for the sender, information that is unknown, and information that is truly useful.
However, it is up to you to choose and discard this information.
I am convinced that if you can think for yourself and see things for what they really are, you will find it easy to find your own answers among so much information.
And take advantage of whatever is available.
There is so much out there waiting to be used by you.
No one has the right to stand in your way of looking into something you have questions about.
If you can determine a little bit about the true nature of things by researching and getting the right information, you will be able to gain a simpler way of thinking and live more comfortably without being misled by information.
●To create “common sense
I have arranged a way of thinking that I learned from an Australian acquaintance some time ago.
When I was in high school, I was not in a financial situation that allowed me to travel abroad frequently.
[Make common sense] When you understand this word from an Australian senior who taught it to me, the world becomes more accessible. He told me, “I am very happy to be able to do this.
I think it’s a wonderful idea.
People have common feelings and ideas.
Take world cinema for example, love stories, comedies, suspense …… All movies have similar stories.
In other words, people have basically the same emotions, even if they speak different languages and are of different races. The idea is.
“My emotions can be replaced by others.”
If we try to get along with the world based on this idea, I think people can get along better.
I am not a good English speaker. But I would like to get along with more people.
●Care about tools
When I was in college, the computers used by students around me were Windows notebooks from Japanese companies such as NEC and Toshiba.
I bought an “iBook” and used “iWork” to write reports.
In hindsight, I wish I had used the same computer as my friends.
However, I am still able to make use of the experience I gained there.
Because I bought a Macintosh at a time when the Internet was not as widespread as it is now, it was an unknown machine to me.
Even though I wanted to express myself, I had no knowledge.
I was stressed that I could not even replace images or insert images, while my university colleagues were writing their papers using Microsoft Word and Excel.
If I had used a Windows PC, I would have been able to comfortably write my dissertation while relying on my colleagues around me.
But I couldn’t. I found the Macintosh keyboard to be the easiest to use. I felt that I could spend hours writing on the notepad with this keyboard.
I acquired my knowledge of the Macintosh by translating from the Internet forums, where there were no instructions in Japanese and we communicated in English.
I thought, “I’m going to complete everything on the Macintosh, no matter what it takes.” That’s what I thought.
Then one day, I realized that I had to learn English software. I could use useful software, even if it was in English, as long as I knew what it meant. If I do a search on the Internet, I can use the software that everyone else has created. I thought.
From there, I wrote papers in various places, taking my iBookG3 with me.
I realized that the more I took care of the tools myself, the more efficient my work became.
And with the introduction of new tools and software comes the experience of new technological innovations.
