The burning time of the scented candles is very short.

I had no idea that the aroma candles I bought as a trial would heal me so well.

I was attracted by the scent of eucalyptus and citrus, and when I tried the aroma candles, I didn’t expect that my room would become such a comfortable space.

However, if I leave them on during a concentrated time, they are gone in no time.

I wonder if there are any candles that can keep this on forever…

I don’t think so.

So I bought a new candle.

I put it on immediately and it smells very good…

I am glad I bought it.

I did a little research on aroma candles and found that they are very effective for healing and mental focus. Let me quickly explain its effects in simple terms.

Relaxing both mentally and physically

Scientific studies have shown that people can relax mentally and physically by utilizing aroma candles. There are two reasons for this.

  1. the candle flame has a relaxing effect.
    • The flickering flame of a candle has a pleasant “1/f fluctuation. This flickering is believed to give people a sense of relaxation.
    • Studies have shown that looking at a candle flame reduces tension levels in the mind and body and has a relaxing effect.
  2. Because the aroma of aroma has a relaxing effect.
    • Scents stimulate the brain’s hippocampus and ectopia, which regulate memory and emotions. Certain scents can promote relaxation.
    • Aroma candles bring relaxation through the synergy of the flickering flame and fragrance.

Can balance the autonomic nervous system

The aroma of aroma candles can regulate the autonomic nervous system, stimulate the secretion of hormones, and promote metabolism. Specifically, the following effects can be expected.

  • Increases motivation, concentration and memory
  • Positive and euphoric feelings
  • Feelings of excitement and romanticism

Fragrance effect.

Aroma candles also remove unpleasant odors from a room. The flame of the candle burns off particulate matter in the air, eliminating unwanted odors.

Recommended Scents

Here are some of my personal recommendations for scented candles.

The one I purchased this time was a sandalwood scent. It is a very pleasant scent to the nose and will set you up for a focused environment in about 3 to 5 minutes.

  1. Lavender: relaxes tension and relieves mental and physical fatigue
  2. Orange-sweet: A bright, positive feeling fragrance.
  3. Lemon: improves concentration and refreshes the mind.
  4. Sandalwood: calms the nerves and has a relaxing effect.

Cautions for using aroma candles

Here are some things you should absolutely be careful about when installing this product. Above all, since you will be dealing with fire, please be absolutely sure to observe the following points. It would be a crying shame if you were healed but your house was burned down.

  1. Do not sleep with a light on: It is dangerous to sleep with aromatic candles lit. Be sure to extinguish the fire before going to bed, as it may cause a fire.
  2. Use in a stable location: Avoid placing objects around the candle. Also, place them on a stable surface, not in a windy area, to reduce the risk of them tipping over and catching fire.
  3. Adjust the length of the wick: trim the wick to 5-6 mm. If it is too long, black smoke will be produced. Also, light the wick from the base to prevent odor.
  4. Wipe away melted wax: After extinguishing the fire, wipe away the melted wax. This will preserve the burning area of the wick and adjust the size of the fire.
  5. Know how to store them properly: Aromatic candles should be stored away from wind and direct sunlight. It is best to store them in a container with a lid.

This caution is directed at myself.

I have fortunately never had a fire before, but you never know when it will happen.

Fire can be scary.

But more than that, I never thought that the flickering and smell of aroma candles would create an environment where I could concentrate so well.

If you get frustrated or find yourself in a situation where you need to concentrate, clean your desk, light an aroma candle, and 10 minutes later you will find yourself able to concentrate.
