How you spend the first three hours after waking up in the morning determines your life.

Many of you must first check social networking sites and new messages on your smartphone …… when you wake up in the morning.

But that’s a habit. But please wait a minute!

Hello, this is Santoshi.

Why don’t you review your morning habits?

It is often said that you should work in the morning. In particular, it is said that the first three hours of the day are the golden hours, when you can grow most efficiently as a person.

In fact, here is how the first three hours of the day can have an impact on a person’s day and life as a whole

◆1: The best time of day to make decisions is in the morning.

Willpower decreases with each decision you make, and it decreases toward the end of the day. Conversely, the time of day when we have the most willpower is “morning,” when we have just woken up and have not yet made any decisions. Therefore, important tasks that require concentration and decision-making power are best done in the morning. Doing meaningless tasks in the morning wastes your limited willpower.

◆2: Thinking is calmer in the morning

Throughout the day, reading e-mail, clicking on links that flood the Internet, and sending and receiving dozens of e-mails can distract our thinking. These daily activities limit creativity and make it difficult for people to focus.
On the other hand, if you are just waking up in the morning, your thoughts are very calm. Since they have not yet received the flood of information that floods their daily lives, they can easily enter a state of flow and are in a better position to be creative.

◆3: You can have time where you are not disturbed by anyone in a physical sense.

Another point in the argument that important work should be done in the morning is that there is less chance of being physically interrupted. In the early hours of the morning, there is less chance of a phone call, a meeting, or a child jumping in screaming, so you can work without being physically disturbed.

◆4: Getting up one hour earlier gives you one more hour of free time.

We cannot add an hour to our 24-hour-a-day time frame. If you get up an hour earlier than usual, you have an hour more to devote to what you want to do. 1 hour for 1 day, 7 hours for a week, and 365 hours for a year.

◆5: You will feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

At the end of the day when you have spent all your time on dating apps, or on Facebook, or on e-mail, you may feel a sense of failure and say, “I didn’t do anything today to improve my life. However, if you do something important at the beginning of the day, you can feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day, he said.
Some people may think, “Even so, I am not a morning person. …… For such people, Mr. Rao wrote about the key points to become a morning person.

◆Create a state in which you are more likely to succeed in getting up early.

It is said that people fail when they try to change their behavior because they try to do something “unsustainable. He said it is important to think about how you can make yourself an “early riser” and set a “goal” that will make it easier for you to achieve it.

For example, content strategist Kingshuk Mukherji set a goal of “getting up 15 minutes earlier each week,” and to achieve this goal, he did two simple routines:

(1) get out of bed”

(2) kill sleepiness.

However, anyone who has ever tried unsuccessfully to get into the habit of waking up early will know how difficult the above seemingly simple actions can be. So Mukherji used an app called Alarmy to ensure that his alarm would not go off until he scanned a barcode of some kind. At that point, the smartphone cannot be turned off or put into silence mode to silence the alarm. In other words, if the barcode is on the lid of a can of protein powder, Mukherji’s only two possible actions are to snap his smartphone in half or to get out of bed and scan the barcode on the protein powder. Out of necessity, Mukherji would have to get out of bed to stop the alarm.
As a result, Mukherji, who used to wake up at 8:30 AM, now wakes up at 6:35 AM. This has enabled him to finish tasks in the morning that used to take him until 6 pm. Although his workload has not changed, he says that working in the morning has improved the quality of his concentration and changed everything in his life. Many methods have been used to make it a habit to get up early, such as “drink tea,” “drink coffee,” “take a cold shower,” and “take a walk,” but these are not important. The two important things are to “get out of bed” anyway, and to “shake off the sleepiness. Whatever works to achieve this is fine.

That does not mean, however, that getting up early itself is a super power. Waking up early and spending quality time in the morning has “power. Just as you think about how to spend your leisure time, you need to think about what you need to do in an environment where you can be most sharp and undisturbed throughout the day.
